Ed Prosek
Ed is a California-born songwriter and musician based in Berlin. His songs have earned over 100 million streams, he has written for artists around the world, and his music has featured on major television networks. His own experience navigating Germany’s artist visa system, and helping friends through their moves, brings a practical, personal understanding of relocation to Arrivon.

Tom Beck
Tom brings 15 years of experience in university education and has set up education hubs across Europe. He is an MBA candidate at Porto Business School and holds an MSc in Business Management, specialising in Green Energy and Climate Finance, from the Berlin School of Economics and Law. His background combines education, partnerships and business development with an understanding of the decisions students face when studying abroad.

We’re Ed and Tom. Friends for more than fifteen years, former bandmates, and the people building Arrivon.
Through music and university education, we kept meeting people facing the same challenges when moving abroad. Arrivon grew naturally from those conversations.
HOW IT STARTED
Two perspectives. One shared idea.
Ed knew the challenges of moving to Germany from personal experience. Navigating the artist visa system himself, then helping friends with their moves, showed him how much difference clear information and a little practical support could make.
Through his work in university admissions, Tom was seeing another side of the same problem. International students needed support beyond securing a university place, with gaps in the guidance available for everything that came next: finding a home, arranging insurance and getting settled.
As we talked, the overlap became clear. We were coming from different backgrounds, but wanted to make the same things easier. Arrivon came together naturally: practical guides, useful services and a personalised checklist to help students, artists and professionals prepare for Germany and find their feet when they arrive.
